Overview

2386 ft overall ascent. Some steep ascents and descents. Poles might be needed.

I’m leading this at short notice and haven’t got time to put on a new walk so I am using a route that Sylvia did a couple of months ago and can’t take any credit for her lovely walk. I’ve walked it twice but I’m doing this in reverse to vary it.

From Flash Village Hall over Oliver Hill to Hilltop on to Axe Edge End. Cross A53 at Wall Nook and down to Brand Side. On past Turncliffe to Diamond Hill and along to Ladmanlow. Up to Axe Edge Moor trig point, over Cheeks Hill to Orchard Farm round to Knotbury and then to Turn Edge past Wivken Walls and then back through Flash.
