We are the Livingston Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy walk along mostly paved paths around the village of Wester Inch near Bathgate which was created twenty years ago to meet the local demand for housing in the area. On this walk you will learn what wildlife to look out for, how nature thrives alongside residential housing & how it is continuing to be looked after. You will also discover what was here before the village!
Whilst most of the route is on paved paths there are a few sections which can be muddy after rain so walking boots are recommended. Although the paths are lined with street lighting please bring a headtorch with you on to ensure you have enough light.
For car sharing please meet at Livingston north Railway Station Car park (Glasgow side) at 6.15 pm.
Parking area beside play park on Leyland Road, Wester Inch (opposite side of the road to Simpson Primary School) at 6.45pm.
