Overview

Bishop Hill is the lesser known hill of the Lomond range at 461m, sitting south of West and East Lomond Hills. The route from Hoy Reservoir gives a gradual ascent and rewards walkers with great views over Loch Leven, the island prison of Mary Queen of Scots and the National Nature Reserve. We'll also see Carlin Maggie, the witch turned to stone in an argument with the devil, or maybe a dolerite pillar. Who's to say?
