We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A varied and moderately paced walk - about 8.5 miles - through woods, across fields and along secluded byways. Fairly level walking over gently undulating countryside. May be very muddy in places - poles might be helpful.
Lunch Stop: at Windhill (Woodman Pub) - or bring own picnic.
Meet at Bayford Station at 10.29.
Travel: Moorgate 09:42/HIghbury & Islington 09.50/Finsbury Park 09:57 - Great Northern train.
Ticket/Fare: buy a return ticket to Stevenage (this is where the lines meet) £14:60; Railcard:£9:60 and with SRC + FP £6:70. However, it might be better to buy 2 single tickets: with a SRC+FP it’s £2:70 to Bayford and the return from Brookmans Park is £2:50.
Finish: Brookmans Park Station.
