Overview

From Belstone the walk follows the River Taw to Sticklepath, then along the Tarka Trail to South Tawton. We then walk along quiet lanes to South Zeal, then uphill to the moor through lovely woods and along a board walk. We return to Belstone across Skaigh Warren.

A varied walk with beautiful views. Typical Dartmoor walk, wet underfoot in places, uphills, downhills and rough paths and tracks. Some road walking.
