Overview

This walk features a visit to the iron age hillfort of Bury Castle, crossing Cardinham Moor and then Cardinham Downs and finally making our way back through Deviock Wood enjoying the autumnal colours.

We park in Cardinham Parish Hall opposite the church, then follow footpaths, moorland, woodland and some of the local lanes. By this time of the year it may be wet underfoot in places.

Please note that the leader will not be at Pixon Lane but lifts could be organised.

Please book in with the leader.
