Overview

From Cadover Bridge we head across Wigford Down with excellent views towards Plymouth above the Dewerstone Rock.  We head into Dewerstone Wood past relics of the quarrying industry, down some steep, uneven paths above the River Meavy towards Shaugh Bridge where it meets the River Plym.  We climb up the other side of the valley to join the very pretty path which follows the old underground pipe  that carried china clay from near Cadover to the drying kilns at Shaugh Bridge, finishing back at Cadover Bridge.
