We are the Inverurie Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet at the layby on the A90. Catch the 61 bus at 1010 from Stirling Village to Cruden Bay. Bring any bus passes. Alight from the bus at Cruden Bay. Walk down Main Street to the public car park and then on to the footpath to Slains Castle, linked with the novels of Bram Stoker, including Dracula. Continue on the cliff top path to the Bullers of Buchan. Should be good views of birds nesting on the cliffs below. Continue on the cliff top path to the Longhaven Cliffs Nature Reserve and onto the track of an old railway line to Rocksley Drive, Boddam.
Note- the cliff top path is narrow in places with a steep drop to one side. The railway track is rough and can get overgrown.
Direction of walk and timings to be confirmed depending on the weather and summer bus schedule.

Booking is essential. Please contact the walk leader Henry Webb using the contact details provided to book, or if you have any questions, by the Thursday evening prior to the walk. Please provide a contact telephone number. Confirmation of your booking is required for attendance. It is essential for the walk leader to know who is coming on the walk and to be able to contact people should there be any changes. Please remember to contact the walk leader if you are no longer able to attend.
Additional details
Walking boots and waterproofs recommended. Walking poles, gaiters and binoculars optional. Bring food and drink.
