We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
This 7‑mile circular walk from Shamley Green follows a mix of woodland tracks, bridleways and open countryside, passing through Farley Heath and the surrounding Winterfold area. The route includes both shaded forest sections and more open heathland with characteristic Surrey Hills views. We will pause mid-morning for an alfresco tea break, so please bring a flask and some snacks. The walk finishes back in Shamley Green, where it is possible to picnic or enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch at the Bricklayers Arms.
