Meet in the foyer of Windsor & Eton Riverside Railway Station ready to walk off at 10am. Our route is circular, starting in historic Windsor by the castle, then through a couple of the long “rides”, into the Great Park to a coffee stop, before descending again through the quieter and wooded slopes on the eastern edge to reach Old Windsor and pub lunch. There is the opportunity for those who only wish to do around 7 miles to take a bus (8 & 8A) back to Staines at this point. For the remainder, we return along the banks of the Thames to Windsor & Eton Riverside Station again.
