Overview

A moderate-paced linear walk to Crystal Palace Station led by Jane R (Mobile No: 07906 987503) via Brockwell Park, Ruskin Park, Dulwich Village, Dulwich Park, Sydenham Hill Wood Nature Reserve, Dulwich Woods, Sydenham Wells Park and Crystal Palace Park with its Dinosaur Lake and terraces where the Crystal Palace stood before it was destroyed by fire in 1936. Most of the route is hard-surfaced but the wooded section can be quite muddy. Lunch stop in Dulwich Village where there is a choice of pubs and cafés. Many possible drop-out points.
