Overview

A moderately-paced linear walk to Stratford Station (Central, Jubilee, Mildmay and Elizabeth lines and DLR, Zone 2/3) led by Nigel S (Mobile No: 07793 629809. Gravel, asphalt and paved paths, mostly level terrain. A varied walk on former railway line, through Finsbury and ClissoldParks, AbneyPark Cemetery, Stamford Hill, Springfield and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Parks, River Lea, LeeCanal and Hackney Marshes. Picnic lunch and cafés at ‘Here East’ before the Olympic Park. Tea at WestfieldStratford. Many opportunities to drop out. Joint walk with Hammersmith, Fulham & Wandsworth and Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Groups. Map: E173, London A-Z.
