The Hedgelayers walk is through undulating countryside and includes road, fields and some woodland. We cross two busy roads when care and attention to traffic is needed and there is also one steepish section of narrow road just after the halfway mark.
One section through woodland has around 30 steep steps, with handrail in some parts, leading down to a small stream and then into a field. A stick or sticks might be useful here.
There are four stiles and several kissing gates.
The ground throughout was very dry when the walk was reccied.
This is one of Bromsgove's Royal Hunters Walks.
Toilets: usually open before we start the walk and when we finish.
There is also a small cafe for ice cream, drinks and some sandwiches etc.
Parking: free car parking to the right as you turn into the park. There is usually space in the car park, however, if that is not the case street parking is available in Willow Road opposite.
