Overview

Burnhope Pond to Wheatley Hill

An easy to moderate walk of around 5 miles through the lovely countryside between Burnhope and Holmside, beginning and ending with some beautiful Exmoor Ponies, if we’re lucky. The walk is a mixture of woodland, fields and a little bit of road work. Mostly good tracks, but there are some muddy areas so be prepared for that autumn “squelch”. Afterwards we’ll head off for refreshments at the Woodlands Cafe, Congburn Garden Centre, Edmondsley, DH7 6DY.
