A short and s̶w̶e̶e̶t̶ steep 2-mile walk up, over and around Pontesford Hill and Earl’s Hill, within the South Shropshire Hills AONB. All being well, we will be rewarded with some far-reaching views, and perhaps a sweeping sunset, before descending to enjoy an optional pitstop at the Nag's Head.
Photos taken on an evening walk last year.
Steep and very loose in sections. Walking boots/trainers advised.
Dog Friendliness 🐾 - One difficult stile. Cattle may be grazing on top of the hill.
Nag’s Head in Pontesbury following the walk.
