We will start in Church Stretton and climb up Caer Caradoc. The ascent is fairly steep but well worth it for the sweeping views of the surrounding hills. We will pause at the Iron Age hill fort at the top to catch our breath, have a snack and enjoy the views. We will then descend along the ridge of the hill, past the finger rocks and back down into the valley. This is a moderate walk with a fair amount of ascent but we will take our time climbing up and down and go at the pace of the group.
Hiking boots are recommended for this walk.
