We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
York Public Transport Walks
We start by descending towards Scout Hall then a steady ascent towards Shelf Hall Park. Here we join with the Bronte Way that is now mainly a descent all the way to Brighouse to complete our trail.

We catch the 08.22 train to Halifax arriving at 09.28. We then catch the 09.46 Bradford bus arriving at 09.45.
For the return journey we catch the 14.32 train to Dewsbury arriving at 14.44. We then catch the 14.57 train to York arriving at 15.38.
Purchase a day return from York to Halifax and a single from Brighouse to Leeds.
