A walking group for young people in the Shropshire area. We have walks on most weekends, mid-week in the summer as well as socials and weekends away too.
A classic route out of Carding Mill, providing an introduction to evening walking. A steady amount of ascent but taken at a pace we can enjoy!
Starting off in the NT car park, we'll hopefully have a lovely Golden Hour adventure. The route will take us gently up past the reservoir, gently ascending, along the Pipe Walk. A short ascent will then take us up Lightspout Hollow, up past the waterfall before circling up to Shooting Box Barrow - which will hopefully afford us a nice open view across towards the Stiperstones.
We'll then head back down into Carding Mill Valley via Dr Mott's Road, before heading, no doubt to a fine hostelry in Church Stretton.
There will be a pre-meeting at 6.30 for those who can join for a picnic tea, with the walk beginning at 7pm.
