Meet at Wyndley Swimming Pool car park 08:45 for car sharing. Directions to Carsington Water Visitor Centre: Big Lane, Upper Town, Ashbourne, DE6 1ST Take the A38 towards Derby and go left onto Kedleston Road by Markeaton Park. Go through Weston Underwood on Bullhurst Lane to reach the A517. After going through Hulland Ward take the right turning onto Dog Lane. Take the next right onto Gibfield Lane, which turns into Dam Road. Follow the signs to Carsington Water Visitor Centre, turning right to get to the car park. Car Park is payable by card. I couldn't see how to pay by cash. Meet outside the Visitor Centre. Note: It's important to let the walk leader know if you plan to go straight to the start, instead of meeting at Wyndley.
