When we did the Circuit of Bath earlier on this year, we found that the Lansdown Plateau was a very interesting area for walking, and this walk continues the exploration. We walk to Weston, then pick up the Cotswold Way up Dean Hill, Kelston Round Hill, Prospect Stile, around various Roman camps and back via Beckford's Tower. Sounds hilly, but once up, its fairly flat, with far reaching views. A walking pole is useful, and bring provisions for the usual two stops.

Meet and park at Newbridge Park and Ride, by the bus stops. The P and R is on the A4 towards Bristol. It is £2.50 all day and you can pay by cash, card or online.
