Overview

Release from Christmas Cabin Fever! Escape the turkey, mince pies, Noddy/Mariah/Choir of King’s College Cambridge (not to mention the family!) for the plateau between Box and Bradford. Very familiar territory for West Wilts Ramblers but always delightful. A bracing climb out of Box and then a circuit around Kingsdown, Monkton Farleigh, South Wraxall and back. A bit up and down around Kingsdown but otherwise pretty flat. Then back home to make further inroads on those leftovers.  Wearing antlers is compulsory (though given the date a King Herod crown would be more appropriate).  A coffee stop and a lunch stop at convenient points.
