Overview

Starting with an ascent of Cissbury Ring, pass the trig point and continue via the east gate, descending to a valley below Lychpole Hill (1.5mi).  Pass through the buildings of Lychpole Farm (3mi) and ascend gradually, cross Sompting-Steyning road. Turn north (4mi), re-crossing the road and continue up to Langmead memorial (5.5mi). Descend steeply to No Man's Land followed by a steep ascent before a gradual descent back to the start.
