The walk takes you through the beech woods along the ridge of Corbet woods - plenty of fungi in there at this time of year - then down through Grinshill, passing the red sandstone church, then across the Sansaw estate, over the railway line and back up the footpath leading to Clive village hall and church.
There are two stiles where we cross the railway track.
PLEASE NOTE The road between Baschurch and Myddle is closed. The diversions send you down narrow winding lanes. We recommend anyone coming from the Oswestry direction should go via A495 to Ellesmere and take the Shrewsbury road A528 till the turn off for Clive.
