A leisurely flat, circular-linear route over field paths, raised dykes and quiet country lanes.
Ideal for those new to country-walking or equally it’s an unhurried amble for the more experienced rambler.
Starting from the village hall car park at Llandrinio we head out towards Offa’s Dyke path and then track south towards the River Severn. Admiral Rodney atop Breidden Hill keeps an eye on us for most of the walk. Some of the raised dyke paths are a little exposed on breezy days – so a windproof layer and a warm hat will serve you good! One or two sections of uneven ground and it can be muddy in places following rain. A few stiles and gates. Please bring provisions for coffee and lunch stops.
Please car share if convenient. The walk leader will meet you at the start of the walk.
N.B. Areas of land flanking the river are deep floodplains during the winter season – so the route may be subject to change. We are ‘ALL OK’ at present…
