From car park past Derwent Dam along Ladybower Reservoir to Abbey Tip Plantation, up to Howden Dean and Lost Lad cairn. Follow the edge to Wheel Stones and descend to Grindle Clough and back along the reservoir to the car park. Risk assessment: Gradual ascent and descent, not steep. May be muddy in places.
Please contact the walk leader if you wish to bring a dog. Please inform the walk leader of any health issues that they might need to be aware of.
Fairholmes car park, meet by notice board. £5 per day. There may be some free parking spaces at Derwent Outlook car park on Derwent Lane on the right as you approach the turning for Fairholmes car park.
