Along Old Hall Lane past Old Hall Farm and skirting the old Woodford airfield. Around the golf course and along the North Cheshire Way to the River Bollin. Follow the river to Newton Hall Farm and along a minor road back to Old Hall Lane and the cars. Risk assessment: Narrow, potentially muddy path alongside the river for a short while.
