Higher Poynton evening walk - Mon 20 Apr

Heading SE along the lane to enter Lyme Park at Windgather House. Over the stile and in northerly direction to pick up N Cheshire Way. West to skirt Ryle’s Wood and along to the Macclesfield Canal. Head north to Middle Wood, then across to join the Middlewood Way back to the start where there is the option to go to the Boar's Head pub.  Risk assessment: The evening walks are intended as an opportunity to enjoy the warmer sunny evenings on a social walk. If the weather is cold and wet, the walk will be re-scheduled. Tall ladder stile out of Lyme Park. Some of the route is on lanes, but these are low-traffic.
