Along the Whitegate Way then heading to Nova Scotia, across Newchurch Common to Pettypool Wood; Daleford Caravan Park; through Kennel Wood; cross A56, through Cuddington to Chester line railway where we rejoin the Whitegate Way to return to the start. Risk assessment: Mostly on good firm paths. Fields possibly with livestock. Short steepish ascents/descents which may be slippery after wet weather. Some muddy sections possible. Exposed roots and trip hazards through woodland sections. Cross busy A56. Short sections on minor roads without a pavement. Shared use of Whitegate Way. About 6 stiles in reasonable condition.
