Overview

No 8 Name the series

This is a 7.25 miles circular walk at moderate / Leisurely pace with some ups and downs through fields and woodlands. We walk through the beechwoods of Downley and Naphill commons and into Bradenham where we will stop for our picnic lunch. Please bring food and drink. We climb the ridge by Averingdown Farm, and walk along the ridge with fine views either side to reach St Lawrences Church and the mausoleum at West Wycombe. Passing through the village of West Wycombe, we then head across fields and woods back to Downley where we can stop for refreshments at the Le De Spencer Arms PH if desired. There are no stiles. Walking boots are recommended and you may want to consider walking poles for the uphill sections if you usually use them.

Well behaved dogs are allowed but may need to be on leads in some sections.
