Overview

A leisurely afternoon walk for the CWW Walks Festival. From Lane End car park we pass the church and walk along woodland paths before crossing some open farmland with views across rolling hills. When we reach the Woodland Trust's Adams Wood we turn and take a different route back which includes the village of Little Frieth as we return to Lane End and stop for refreshment at the Grouse and Ale pub before returning to the carpark. The route includes some gentle hills, a few steps but no stiles. It has plenty of variety and lots of shade as a high proportion passes through and along the edge of woodland.
