This circular walk starts from Berkhamsted Castle and takes in parts of the Ashridge Estate. We will cross fields and farmland with livestock and pass through beech woods and the villages of Frithsden, Nettleden and Little Gaddesden, where we'll stop for lunch. The route follows parts of the Hertfordshire Way and Chiltern Way, offering views of Ashridge House and the Bridgewater Monument, plus a visit to World War I trenches. Moderate pace, bring packed lunch and refreshments.
