Overview

A lovely walk in the Avon Valley starting with a wander around The Moot in Downton, we’ll then follow the Avon south, heading to Hale, before looping north to pass our start point.  The walk then takes us through the pretty village of Downton, to head north again to Charlton All Saints and out across the water meadows, retuning south to The Moot.

I intend to recce the walk to ensure the flood prone sections are passable, so please do check for any updates prior to the walk.

Please bring provisions for a coffee stop and picnic lunch.

** If you don't regularly attend our weekend walks, it would be appreciated if you could inform the walk leader if you would like to join us, by 8pm the day before **

Please ensure you carry your Ramblers in Case of Emergency (ICE) card.
