Overview

On this walk we explore the eastern side of the Derwent Valley and the countryside between the river and the A38. We start from Duffield Church (Saint Alkmund's). The church is believed to have been built next to Duffield Bridge (and not in the centre of the village) for the benefit of pilgrims and travellers. From Duffield the route takes us to Little Eaton and then Holbrook.
