Overview

A walk over moors and along the banks of the Derwent Reservoir.

We drop down to cross the Burnhope Burn before crossing moorland (Muggleswick Park) with wide views back over the reservoir. Heading north we reach the hamlet of Muggleswick. From here we make our way to the Derwent reservoir via Eddy's Bridge and the dam. We continue along the banks of the reservoir to Pow Hill before returning over rough pasture to Edmundbyers.
