We are the Cleveland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We leave the village along Egton Lane and take the field paths S to Egton Bridge. More field paths take us S and E to Blue Beck Cottage, Low Hollins Farm, High Burrows Farm and Dowson Garth to the Rail trail, which we follow to Grosmont(toilets). After a short stretch of the Esk Valley Walk to Priory Wood, we take quiet single track roads N and W passing Lamplands, Newstead Farm and East End Farm to emerge along a short footpath back at Egton.
There are public toilets on route at Grosmont.
There will be a ten minute break. Please feel free to bring a drink/snack to enjoy.

Park in Egton Estates car park above The Witching Post Inn, permission has been granted to park here (at own risk) instead of roadside. Meet outside The Witching Post Inn.
