Overview

From the top car park at Tortworth farm shop we enter the grounds of Tortworth Court Hotel , through the arboretum, across fields , along tracks and woodland paths , crossing over the stream twice. We pass the Bloody Hill Fort to emerge onto the road by Tortworth Lake (unfortunately not open today). We then follow the road past the prison back to the start. Coffee break only. Quite a few ups and downs, 3 good stiles. Meet at 10.20am. Cafe available after the walk. Terrain 2
