Overview

On to canal path, through Stroud, from Bagpath to Minchinhampton common. Skirting Amberley and St Chloe before descent to Woodchester, passing the roman pavement before returning to the canal path.

A steep climb from the canal path onto Minchinhampton common. Several flights of steps. Some road and lane walking.

Local walk terrain 3 - Quite hilly, moderate pace

Two short stops. One at Winstones ice cream shop and another for lunch.
