Overview

From Frampton lakes we cross fields to the old Stroudwater Canal, Saul marina and Preddy on the east side of the Arlingham loop. We follow the Severn down stream before cutting inland to climb Barrow Hill with views across to the Forest of Dean.  We descend through Overton to the west side of the Arlingham loop and follow the river back towards our starting point crossing the canal again at Fretherne swing bridge.

This is an almost flat walk.
