A shortish walk packed with lovely views and interesting features in the beautiful Esk Valley, with stretches of path adjacent to the river and railway.
The walk is technical with a few sharpish climbs, and somewhat testing in places, so bring your best walking boots!
Lealholm is 19 miles from Stokesley but the walk is worth it!
There may be cows in one or more field but the farmers we met on the recce understand the concerns of walkers.
We traverse several farm fields with stiles which are well- maintained and relatively easy.
Some road walking on quiet byways.
