We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk will take us through farmland, woodland and heath as we explore the Ash Valley.
The River Ash originates near the village of Brent Pelham in North Hertfordshire and flows through The Hadhams (Little, Ford and Much), Widford and Wareside until it reaches the River Lea near Stanstead Abbots.
The end times are approximate. Our walks are relaxed affairs where weather, ground conditions, people we meet along the way, views, nature and wildlife can all affect the time a walk might take. So please bear this in mind when joining us on one of our walks.
We will meet at the Catherine Wheel, Gravesend, Albury. If not using the pub after the walk please park carefully nearby. There is a public car park at Clapgate Village Hall.
