We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This walk will use some less well used paths to take us to Roe Green via Southern Green and Offley Green. We then join the Hertfordshire Way and The Ickneild Way to walk to Wallington, enjoying open views to the North. We will walk through the village to see the house George Orwell lived in when he conceived the idea for Animal Farm. We then join the Ickneild Way again towards Quickswood Farm. We then rejoin the Hertfordshire Way past Bush Spring before turning South through Wallington Common and Shaw Green to return to Rushden.
The Moon and Stars in Rushden and Mill End Plants and Cafe are available for after walk refreshments.
We will meet in Rushden Village Hall and Church Car Park
