This walk offers appealing pastoral settings,in open fields and hedgerows, with a bit of quiet road walking.
Starting at the sports and playing field car park, Melbourne we walk to Scamland and East Farm.From here we continue to Dial Farm and onto New Mill ,Seaton Ross. We then go onto Rytham Gate,Gale Farm, Bielby Mill,Pocklington Canal and back to the cars.
Melbourne Sports and Playing Field Committee have kindly let use the car park and toilet facilities .There is a £1 per car donation for this walk.
Experience part of the stunning Pocklington Canal toll path.
The walk is flat and will suit all walking abilities
New people are always welcome to join the group for a few walks before becoming members. Please make yourself known to the walk leader before we start.
