Overview

Walk from Low Mill car park and climbing up on to Rutland Rigg for some fantastic views over the North Yorks Moors. A bit further afield than usual but well worth it !

Meet at the Low Mill Car Park in Farndale. £2.50 car park fee. Take the A19 and then A64 and then B1257 towards Pickering. Left in Pickering onto A170 . Turn right at brown sign for Ryedale Folk Museum and Hutton Le Hole. Drive straight through the village on to Blakey Road. Take a left signposted Farndale and then turn left for Low Mill Car Park. Toilets at the start.
