Overview

We leave Edenbridge following the riverbank before cutting past the fishing ponds to Marsh Green, where we start our gradual climb through the woods to Dry Hill bronze age fort which we will circumnavigate before crossing through the woods and fields towards Cowden, enjoying the views of the Greensand Ridge and the High Weald.  After touching on Cowden we will climb up to Markbeech where we will take well earned  picnic lunches in the churchyard.  Refreshments are available at the Kentish Horse.

After lunch the walk back to Edenbridge will be shorter (4.5 miles) touching on Hever before entering the town through the watermeadows.

Please check the website for any changes.
