An undulating Wealden Walk leaving Cowden via Waystrode Manor on the Sussex Border Path turning south past Scarletts and Hammerwood, before we follow the vanguard Way into Forest Row for our picnic lunch stop. Refreshments can be obtained from the several cafes and pubs in Forest Row,
After lunch we will detour slightly through Tablehurst Community Farm before joining the High Weald Landscape Trail to St Ives camp site where we turn north past Chantlers Farm on our way back to Cowden.
Good walking countryside with plenty of views and places of interest and a mixture of woodland and open trails.

Car sharing is encouraged and contact the leader if you wish to have a lift.
No public toilets at the start of the walk though available at the lunch stop.
Please park considerately in the streets around the church in Cowden, from where we will start the walk. parking is limited so please car share if possible.
