Flower Pots Pre-Lunch Ramble

This is a 5 mile circular ramble prior to the organized Alton Ramblers lunch in The Flower Pots Inn at Cheriton.   Starting at The Flower Pots car park.  

We will be heading North along Itchen Way to Cheriton Mill, along Wayfairers Walk to Cheriton Wood.  Return to Wayfairers Walk, South of Long Barrow; returning to The Flower Pots Inn in time to clean up and have a drink before lunch, which starts at 1300.  The route takes us across open farmland, along countryside tracks and a little bit of quiet country road.   Not a hilly route with 4 styles and a good chance of mud.  Some good panaramic views of the countryside (weather permitting).
