Overview

We will walk from a lay-by near Hinton Ampner and walk past the source of the River Itchen, then taking some footpaths around Cheriton, before heading on towards the church at Hinton Ampner.  We will take the ridge, which can be muddy, towards Joan's Acre Wood and take the woodland paths back to the start.  We will be walking on footpaths, along fields, woods and tracks.
