A brisk walk starting from Selborne Recreation Ground and walking around the edge of Selborne Hill to cross B3006 and continuing along the Long Lythe. We will take the paths to Wick Hill Farm and Hartley Park Farm then heading toward Wick Hill Hanger and on to Chapel Farm. The route will take us through open fields to Rhode Farm and back to the start. There are rough uneven tracks, footpaths and a number of stiles.
Bring a drink and snack/lunch as required.
Please wear suitable sturdy footwear and bring poles if you use them.
Alton Sports Centre Lower Car Park by Alton Skate Park, Jubilee Playing Field, Chawton Park Road, Alton or in the upper overflow car park. Leader will be at the meet point. Some Saturday's can be busy due to football matches so leave enough time to park.
Selborne Recreation Ground From Alton, drive along the B3006 into Selborne and past the Shops and Pub. Turn left at the "Ketchers Cottages" sign, up a small driveway and bear left into the recreation ground. The sign is diagonally opposite the Selborne Well Head.
