A walk from Frenchay to Stapleton. We go over Frenchay Common, then through Oldbury Court to Blackberry Hill and Wickham Bridge. We then climb to Stapleton. We return past Snuff Mills and along the River Frome.
There will be a coffee stop with toilets and a drink kiosk.
We start outside the White Lion in Frenchay There is a small car park on Frenchay Common off Pearces Hill and some roadside parking nearby. OS Grid ref ST639773. If travelling by bus, take a 50 and ask to go as near to Frenchay Common as possible (I think the bus turns round at the junction of Begbrook Park and Froomshaw Road). The White Lion is closed for refurbishment but promises to be open from November 1st.
