Very chuffed to have happened upon this walk! It’s in Laurie Lee terrain, an area I previously knew little about & had rather neglected. However, recent investigations have yielded some really pleasurable walking & fine views in delightful countryside…..
At time of writing, the walk is yet to be fully resolved, but will eventually link the startpoint of Bulls Cross to Bisley, Miserden & Througham in a complicated, circular excursion. And there will be a probable pub-stop at ‘The Carpenters Arms’ in Miserden!
It’s a typical Cotswolds walk! Hills, valleys, woodlands & streams interspersed with lovely, little villages, hamlets & farm’s hidden secretively away in their midst. Please note, however, there are are a number of surprisingly steep sections to be negotiated en route, & these eventually combine to produce some 2,700 ft. of overall ascent!
This is a very beautiful part of the world & I really enjoyed putting this route together, so hope you’ll be able to join me on it in early November….
